Ford Mustang GT
One of my friend’s pride and joy - a Ford Mustang GT 5.0L. This is by far one the best shoots I’ve ever done. Aftering hiring someone to drive while I filmed, we made a cool sequence of the car around Edinburgh one evening. We communicated by calling eachother and using the car’s loudspeaker in order to get the shots more effectively. I managed to pull some buttery smooth screengrabs from the 4K video too.

Falling - Portobello Beach, Edinburgh
Dance videos are something I've never done before, so when the oppurtunity arose I took it! Rebecca is a talented singer / dancer / actor at The MGA Academy in Edinburgh, Scotland. Although not her original dance, parts of it have been improvised - it is performed with so much passion! This was an absolute blast to film and edit - look forward to doing more! The filming / editing element was completely improvised on location.

The Laughing Heart
Green was a colour I wanted to get more familiar with and I wanted to see what kind of mood could be created with it. On a rainy July afternoon in 2020 we filmed this short at Loch Eddie in the Scottish Borders. This video was a blast to shoot and colour grade afterwards. All the shots were filmed with the Sony Alpha 6400, a Sigma 56mm F/1.4 lens with the Zhiyun Weebil S gimbal… One of the shots was recorded using the Sigma 16mm F/1.4.

Shine Your Light
Zuma Beach, California for golden hour (or Golden half-hour!). I had the pleasure of shooting with the amazing Kate Diaz. This was a run & gun type video we couldn’t have been more pleased with. We worked quickly as the sun began winding down for the day. Shot on the Sony Alpha 6400 with Sigma’s 56mm F/1.4 lens.

A Dark Place
We wanted to produce a video which focused around either a letter either being written or read. Starring the my good friend Jared Unwin, this is a project where I tried to branch out into doing more voice over/ narrative work. We filmed in Traquair House Gardens over two days (a small village in Scotland).
